Alloy Steel Cap

Alloy Steel Cap

The material selection of cap is usually based on the working environment of the pipeline, medium, pressure and other factors. Commonly used cap materials are carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, copper, plastic and so on. Alloy steel cap has high temperature, high pressure, corrosion resistance and other characteristics.

The production requirements and sizes of caps generally refer to the international standard ISO, the German standard DIN, the Japanese standard JIS and the domestic standard GB/T, etc., and their sizes generally range from 1/2 inch to 48 inches.

Overview

Feature:

1. Alloy steel has high strength and hardness, more durable than ordinary steel, can withstand greater pressure and load.

2. The alloying elements added to alloy steel can improve the corrosion resistance of steel and reduce the corrosion rate of steel in harsh environments such as acids, alkalis and salts.

3. Alloy steel has good toughness, i.e., it is not easy to break under external impact or extrusion, which can ensure the reliability under complex working conditions.

4. Due to the alloying elements of alloy steels have good stability at high temperatures, alloy steels are able to maintain good performance and strength in high temperature environments.
