A60 Manual Fire Damper
The A60 Manual Fire Damper can be used in air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems without fire protection standards. In the event of a fire, once the temperature in the ventilation duct rises above 70°C, the fire damper quickly and automatically exits and isolates the area, preventing the fire from spreading along the duct.
Overview
Fire rating refers to the fire resistance of building materials and components in a fire, usually expressed in letters or numbers. A60 fire rating refers to the ability of building materials and components in a fire to withstand high temperature heat radiation and flame attack for more than 60 minutes without burning or conducting flames. A60 fire rating is usually used in the field of offshore engineering, such as offshore ships, offshore drilling platforms, offshore floating production and storage platforms.
Feature of A60:
A60 fire rated building materials and components are capable of withstanding high temperature heat radiation up to 1000°C.
A60 fire rated building materials and components can withstand flame attack up to 1000°C.
A60 fire rated construction materials and components do not burn, do not produce toxic fumes and do not have the potential to spread fire.
A60 fire rated building materials and components do not conduct flames and do not spread fire.
