A15 Fire Damper
Marine fire dampers are one of the important parts of marine air conditioning system, it can effectively curb the spread of fire, ensure the airtightness of the fire scene, isolate the nearby oxygen, avoid the spread of hazards brought about by combustion, and improve the fire safety of the ship. Class A15 fire dampers are fire-resistant capable doors that can withstand the initial stage of a fire for 15 minutes, and are able to isolate the spread of smoke and flames effectively before the spread of fire. This type of damper is usually used in low-risk areas, such as passageways and public areas within the ship's hold.
Overview
Introduction:
In order to meet the fire-fighting requirements, fire dampers are provided at the mechanical air inlets and exhausts, natural ventilation outlets, etc. in each room. The fire-resistant level of the fire damper is the same as the level of the bulkhead it penetrates, and pneumatic control is adopted.
When the temperature of the air passing through the fire damper exceeds 70℃, the fusible piece on the fire damper will melt automatically, thus closing the fire damper. The switching status of the fire damper is displayed on the on-site indicator box, the damper control box and the operation console in the central control room.
Differential pressure dampers are provided at the natural ventilation openings of positive pressure ventilated rooms, such as the main switch room, emergency switch room, etc., to ensure the positive indoor pressure and to prevent the spread of toxic, harmful and dangerous gases from the outdoors to the indoors, which may damage the indoor environment. Differential pressure damper setting value for indoor and outdoor pressure difference of 50pa open, 25pa closed.
