24mm Marine Hydraulic Combined anchor windlass is a device used for lifting, lowering anchors, and mooring on ships. It uses hydraulic power to operate and is capable of handling heavy loads. It is equipped with two sprocket for lifting and lowering anchor, two drumand two warping head for mooring. The gypsy/sprocket/chain wheel is a rotating device that is grooved to accommodate the anchor chain. The chain is pulled through the gypsy, and the weight of the anchor is lifted or lowered as the chain is paid out or retrieved. The drum, on the other hand, is used to haul and store the ropes or wires that are used to moor the ship. It is popular for passenger vessel, container ship, bulk ship and so on.
